Our dearest friends,

Israel is in a state of war.

Our first prayer request is that you pray for the soon return of Jesus to take us home and, secondly, that you pray for Israel, who finds themselves in a state of war. I love Jesus, and I love His Word as you do. I have read the Bible all my life. I am fully expecting His return any day.

Peru Bible College

I have had the best time teaching in the Bible College and speaking in chapel. God is at work in the lives of these young men and women. There is a great need to train more and more young people. Could you pray that God will touch the hearts of individuals and churches to support the Bible College? If you decide to help the Bible College monthly or with a one-time gift, we will get it straight to them. David Gardner is doing a great job here and running from dawn till dark, training, counseling, helping, and loving young men for the gospel's sake.

Preaching

God has allowed me to preach several times to the wonderful people of the churches here in Arequipa. God has graciously blessed.

Taking the Light Ministries

Alignment Ministries proudly partners with Robert Canfield and Taking the Light Ministries to get the gospel to rural areas worldwide. Robert came for a short visit, and we toured the rural areas. We visited villages, small towns, and groups of families where the gospel is not preached at all. There is a great need to get young preachers and send them into these towns and villages. Please watch for upcoming announcements from Robert and Taking the Light.

Pastor's School

Please pray for me as I will preach to pastors and leaders from all over Peru and other South American countries this week. Pray that God will stir us all on to do more. I need God to move and use me, as there is nothing I can do to get us where we need to be.

Thank you

Thank you all for all you do to help us through Alignment Ministries. Your giving works all over the world. There is so much more need than we have current resources, but I know God will supply.

We love you more than you will ever know. I want to love unconditionally like Jesus has loved me. Thank you for making it all possible. God has blessed me so incredibly that I cannot express my thanks.

On a side note, we are staying at David and Katie's house, and I must tell you what an amazing young lady Katie is. She teaches in the Bible School. She leads the ladies' side of the Society of Mentors in Spanish and English. She is a tremendous hostess. God blessed David greatly with his sweet wife.

Gratefully yours for world evangelism,

Austin and Betty

Gratitude, a sentiment often tucked away in the recesses of our hearts, possesses the transformative power to enrich not only our lives but also the lives of those around us.

In January of 1987 Betty, the kids, and I arrived in Querétaro, Mexico to study Spanish. I literally didn’t know ten words. I am forever indebted to Georgia, Hermana Luisa, Webb for the language institute she ran for many years. She was strict. She pushed hard. Betty cried on more than one occasion. Without the challenge I know that I never would have learned the language. The language school gave me structure, discipline, help learning what to do next. Read the rest of the letter then go watch this video the BBF did of Miss Webb. When you get this letter, Lord willing, Betty and I will be in Mexico and we will be visiting this wonderful godly lady. I thought of this lady often over the years. I remembered how hard she had been on me. I remembered being tortured it seemed but I survived Hermana Luisa and she made me a thriving missionary. Thank you Hermana Luisa for helping a red neck Tennessee hillbilly learn enough Spanish to do some ministry. God bless you. So know that language school might be very beneficial for you. Efficient Resource Utilization: Organized lesson plans and materials ensure learners make the most of their study time, covering essential language elements in a coherent manner. Clear Learning Objectives: Well-organized courses outline clear learning objectives, helping learners understand what to expect and what is expected of them. Resource Accessibility: Organized language schools provide learners with easy access to a variety of resources, including textbooks, multimedia materials, and language software.
